Amorphous Terrain by Andrew Erdos and Yasue Maetake is a collaborative site specific installation. The piece is created from almost unaltered natural elements such as cane and jute rope, to meticulously crafted objects like blown glass and handmade paper, to discarded industrial materials including steel rebar and broken factory windows.

A crystaline structure rises from the floor of a small annonymous Manhattan office. The base of the clear, conical moutain is sharp and glistening. As it gadually tapers to its peak, the transformation takes place. The density changes and the energy escapes from the mountain's core, rising through the ceiling.
